August 30, 2009There was a football game on Friday, and I went to play with the marching band.
It started to rain. And then it was thundering. Before I knew it, the game was canceled.
Anyways, our new band directors suck.

He was studying his files and muttered something indistinguishable under his breath. His face did not turn towards me.
I stood there for a long while waiting for an actual response. Did he even know I was there?
I tried again.

I stare down at the marble floor, listening to the soft voice that comforts me.
Am I? Am I really okay? Would I be lying if I said yes?
I snap back to reality.
"Huh?"
She gives me a big, goofy grin. I can't help but do the same thing in response.
